The following memorandum provides documentation of the "Kappa Model" in BSim (tsbi5), a simple model that can make approximate allowance for temperature gradients in rooms. It will start with a brief explanation of the purpose of the said model, then the model itself will be presented, and finally implementation of the model will be discussed.
